FYJC Admission 2018 Nahsik: The School Education and Sports Department, Govt of Maharashtra is set to release on its website today i.e. Tuesday August 07, 2018 the Fourth General Merit List (4th Merit List) of Nashik students who are seeking admission to First Year Junior College (FYJC).

The FYJC Nashik 2018 Fourth List will be released today at 11:00 am. Follow the steps given below to check your status.

How to check 4th General Merit List for Nashik

  • Click here to go to official website:
  • Click on the link marked with "Fourth Merit List (New)".
  • Enter 6 digit Application/Form number.
  • Click on Search button.

Students should note that as per the Revised Schedule, all admission based on the Fourth Merit List at college level should be done from August 07 to August 09, 2018 up to 06:00 pm.

The School Education Department Maharashtra had earlier postponed the admission schedule of the First Year Junior College in all six cities, including Mumbai MMR, Nashik, Pune, Amravati, Aurangabad and Nagpur following a court order.

The School Education Department had earlier published the Vacancy Position and Cut Off after Third Merit List (Second Round of Admission) on August 03, 2018. Filling of Part 1 and Part 2 Option Form after third round and for fourth round was done from August 3 to August 04, 2018, according to the revised schedule of FYJC Admission 2018.

The School Education Department had released the First Merit List of Bifocal Subjects (Round 1 Allocation) on June 21, 2018. The 2nd List was released on Thursday June 28, 2018 and reporting time was up to 05:00 pm. It released on Tuesday July 31, 2018 the Third General Merit List (3rd Merit List).

The education department has earlier informed the students participating in FYJC 2018 Admission Process that there will be four Merit Lists. All the Merit Lists will be declared on the basis of the merit, category and the order of preferences of the applicant.

"After the First Round for every next round students will be allowed to change their junior college preferences order or stream according to availability of seats, within the stipulated time given for each round. If any student does not change preferences then preferences given for earlier round will be considered", the Information Booklet says.

"Allocation of each round will be as per merit, category and preferences. All the applications received, shall be considered for online admission process according to the merit category and the order of preferences given by the applicants", it reiterates.

According to reports, more than 50,000 students are yet to take admission in FYJC Mumbai alone. Hence there is a possibility of additional round of FYJC admission after Round 4 allocation.
