New Delhi: The Practical Exams of Class 12 and Class 10 will begin from January 15, 2019 and continue till February 15, 2019, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said in an official notification released today.
In the official notification dated Dec 18, the CBSE said like previous years the practical exams of Class 10 and Class 12 students in all regions and cities except Allahabad will be held from January 15 to February 02, 2019.
"In Allahabad, Class XII and Class X Practical Exams will begin from January 01 2019 on account of Kumbh Mela", the CBSE said in its notification.
"As examination in Skill based subjects and few other academic subjects which are being opted by small number of students will commence from later half of February. 2019, practical examination in all such subjects should be completed within 1st half of February 2019", the CBSE said.
"Practical examinations should be conducted invariably in two sessions in a day if the number of candidates is more than 20", Controller of Examination, Dr Sanyan Bhardwaj.
"The marks should be uploaded on the date of examination from the school where practical examination will be conducted by external examiner", he said.
The CBSE Class 12 and Class 10 Date Sheet for the 2019 exams are yet to be released. However, citing board sources it is claimed that the CBSE Date Sheet 2019 (Time Table) is expected to be released by the end week of December or in the first week of January, 2019.
Multiple media reports meanwhile have also claimed that the 2019 Class 12 and Class 10 CBSE exams are likely to be preponed because of 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Students should keep in mind that these are mere speculations, and as long as the CBSE does not release official notification or the CBSE Time Table for Class 12 and Class 10 Exams 2019 are released, nothing can be said about the CBSE Class 10 and Class 2019 exam dates.
