FYJC Admission 2018: Website launched, Start filling Part 1 Form now

Mumbai: The School Education and Sports Department, Govt of Maharashtra has made available the First Year Junior College (FYJC) 11th Online Admission Booklet 2018-19 on the official website for online reference.

However, the students who have passed the Maharashtra SSC Class X 2018 exmination and now wants to take admission in the First Year Junior College (FYJC) are advised to purchase the information booklet from school/guidance centre. The booklet is accompanied by Login ID and Password needed to fill the online admission form.

Students passing the Maharashtra SSC Class X 2018 if they are residing in Mumbai MMR Region, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Aurangabad and Amravati should note that admission to the First Year Junior College (FYJC) in these cities will be done only through the online admission portals:

  1. mumbai.11thadmission.net (for Mumbai MMR)
  2. pune.11thadmission.net (for Pune region)
  3. nagpur.11thadmission.net (for Nagpur)
  4. amravati.11thadmission.net (for Amravati)
  5. nashik.11thadmission.net (for Nahsik)
  6. aurangabad.11thadmission.net (for Aurangabad)

Students residing in these cities should use Login ID and Password given with the booklet and immediately start filling the FYJC Admission Form Part 1 as their Class 10th results have been declared. Students should note that they need to get FYJC Admission Form Part 1 approved from the respective schools to proceed further.

"It is compulsory for every student who want to secure admission for Std. XI to register on the website of centralised Admission Process (fill and submit Part I and Part II of Admission Form). Student's admission under quota (minority, in-house, management quota and 25% seats reserved for HSVC and bifocal subjects) cannot be updated without registration number (Log-in ID) of an applicant", the Maharashtra School Education Department says in the FYJC Information Booklet.

"All students from Std 11th Centralise online admission area of Maharashtra State Board, must get approved their admission form part-1 from their respective school for the information - such as Applicant’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, caste category, constitutional or special reservation etc", the FYJC Information Booklet says.

"Students outside centralise online admission area of Maharashtra State Board as well as other than Maharashtra State Board students must get approved their application form at the guidance centre", it says.

"Students should note that only after this approval, students are eligible to fill FYJC Part-2 i.e. college preferences", the Information Booklet says.

The admission processing fee for Mumbai MMR is Rs.250/- and for other divisions the fee is 150/- (including information booklet and log in ID).

Students participating in FYJC 2018 Admission Process should note that there will be four Merit Lists. All the Merit Lists will be declared on the basis of the merit, category and the order of preferences of the applicant.

"After the First Round for every next round students will be allowed to change their junior college preferences order or stream according to availability of seats, within the stipulated time given for each round. If any student does not change preferences then preferences given for earlier round will be considered", the Information Booklet says.

"Allocation of each round will be as per merit, category and preferences. All the applications received, shall be considered for online admission process according to the merit category and the order of preferences given by the applicants", it reiterates.
