JEE Advanced 2018 Online Registration, Choice Filling start; Mock Seat Allocation 1 on June 19

JEE Advanced JoSAA 2018: The online registration and choice filling by the students who are seeking admission in IITs, NITs and other premiuim engineering institutions have started from Friday.

Steps for JoSAA 2018 Registration

  1. Click here to go to JoSAA 2018 official website: josaa.nic.in
  2. Click on the link marked with "Online Registration and Choice Filling"
  3. Enter your JEE(Main) 2018 Roll Number, Password and Security Pin
  4. Click on Login
  5. Proceed with the instructions and complete registration.

The last date to register is June 25 up to 05:00 pm. However, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA 2018) will display on June 19 the Mock Seat Allocation-1 on June 19 based on choices filled by students till June 18. Display of Mock Seat Allocation-2 will be on June 24 based on choices filled till June 23.

Reconciliation of data, seat allocation, verification and validation will be done on June 26 whereas first round of Seat Allocation will be on June 27, 2018, according to JoSAA Schedule 2018.

The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) had on Thursday released a Supplementary Merit List with another 13,842 qualified candidates for JEE-Advanced after the government issued an unprecedented late-night directive last Wednesday.

The HRD Ministry ordered IIT Kanpur, the organising institute for JEE-Advanced this year, to release “a list of candidates, twice the number of seats in each discipline and category, strictly as per merit, prior to starting the choice filling through JoSAA".

IIT Kanpur declared the result of JEE Advanced 2018 on Sunday June 10. While the cut of this year stood at 74, JEE Advanced 2018 was topped by Pranav Goyal who obtained 337 marks out of 360 marks and secured All India Rank - AIR 1. On the other hand, All India Rak 2 (AIR 2) is grabbed by Sahil Jain of Kota, Rajasthan. Sahil is also Delhi Zone topper. Delhi's Kailash Gupta secured AIR 3.
