JEE Advanced 2018 Admit Card: When, Where and How to Download

New Delhi: IIT Kanpur, the official authority to conduct the JEE Advanced 2018, will release the Admit Card and Hall Ticket of the candidates who have successfully registered for the exam on Monday May 14, 2018. The candidates will be able to download their Admit Card and Hall Ticket till May 20, 2018 before the commencement of the test.

The JEE Advanced 2018 is scheduled to be held on Sunday May 20, 2018. Hence candidates are advised to download and print their admit cards well in advance. The JEE Advanced Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website jeeadv.ac.in.

IIT Kanpur further said that all eligible partially registered candidates will be issued a PROVISIONAL online ADMIT CARD and will be ALLOWED to appear in JEE(Advanced) 2018 on May 20th, 2018.

"GE, OBC-NCL candidates will have to submit a demand draft of Rs. 3100, and, SC, ST, PwD and Female candidates will have to submit a demand draft of Rs. 1800 at the examination centre allotted to them on the day of the examination. The drafts should be in favour of 'Organizing Chairman JEE (Advanced)” payable at Kanpur'", it said.

"NO OTHER documents need to be submitted by such candidates on the day of examination. These PROVISIONAL partially registered candidates will receive a communication from the Organizing Institute for uploading any required documents after the examination, but before June 5, 2018. This message is NOT applicable to all those candidates who completed their registration, including payment of fees, before the deadline", IIT Kanpur said.

The online registeration for JEE Advanced 2018 started on May 02. The last date to apply was May 07. It was however extended by one day and students were allowed to register online till May 08 till 05:00 pm.

Candidates should note that the JEE Advanced 2018 this year will be online and fully computer based. “The JEE (Advanced) 2018 will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2018. The entire JEE (Advanced) 2018 Examination will be conducted in fully computer based test mode”, the IIT Kanpur said.

Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-K) on December 19 launched the Mock Test of Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) JEE Advanced 2018 exams on its website.

  1. Go to JEE Advanced website : www.jeeadv.ac.in
  2. Once on the home page, click on the tab marked with: 'Mock Test for JEE Advanced 2018'
  3. Once on the Log in page, enter your User Name and Password
  4. Click on Sign In

The JEE (Advanced) 2018 will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2018. The entire JEE (Advanced) 2018 Examination will be conducted in fully computer based test mode.

The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-K), the responsible authority to conduct the test, had on November 06, 2017 released the syllabus of JEE Advanced 2018 exams. Those interested can access the IIT JEE Advanced 2018 Syllabus from official website jeeadv.ac.in.

Students vying for admission to NITs, IITs and other centrally funded institutions need to clear the JEE Mains test to qualify for the JEE Advanced. The government had earlier introduced the option of taking the JEE Mains test online, and the JAB has now decided to extend it to the Advanced exam.

Through JEE (Advanced), IITs offer admission into undergraduate courses leading to a Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Sciences or Architecture. Both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees are awarded to candidates enrolled in the dual degree programs upon successful completion of the course curriculum.

In some of the IITs, students enrolled into the 4-year Bachelor’s program have the option to pursue B.Tech. (Honors) and/or B.Tech. with Minors. Dual Degree students may also pursue a Minor. Further, in some IITs B. Tech. students also have the option to pursue Interdisciplinary Dual Degree, with Bachelors in parent Department and Masters in some other Department.
