AP EAMCET 2018 Results: Sheikh Wajid, Janubhai Rafia among toppers

AP EAMCET 2018 Toppers

Amaravati: Sheikh Wajid and Sheik Janubhai Rafia are among the top 05 rank holders of Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test, popularly known as AP EAMCET 2018 result of which was declared today afternoon.

While Sheik Janubhai Rafia with 91.95% bagged the Rank 5 in AP EAMCET 2018 Engineering, Sheik Janubhai Rafia came 5th in AP EAMCET 2018 Agriculture stream. Rafi has scored 91.95%.

The AP EAMCET 2018 results were declared on the official website by Andhra Pradesh Human Resources Development (HRD) Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao today at 12 pm. AP EAMCET is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

Bhogi Suraj Krishna from Vijayawada, with a score of 95.27% marks, has secured the Top Rank in the EAMCET Engineering stream. Bhoj was in the news only two days back when he was declared India Topper of JEE Main 2018. He had secured the All India Rank 1 (AIR 1) position, bagging a total of 350 out of the total 360 marks.

Other toppers in Engineering stream are Rank 2 - Maitreya (94.93%), Rank 3 - Pinnamara Reddy Lokeshwar Reddy (94.22%), Rank 4 - GV Vinayak Srivarathan (94.20%), Rank 6 - Baswaraju Jishnu (93.51%), Rank 7 - Vamsinath (93%), Rank 8 - K V R Hemanth Kumar (92.71%), Rank 9 - Baddapati Yagneshwar (92.67%) and Rank 10 - Mukku Vishnu Manogna (92.56%).

Jangala Sai Priya who got 94.78% marks is Rank holder in AP EAMCET 2018 Agriculture stream. Others among the top 10 AP EAMCET rank holders are Rank 2- Ganjikunta Srivastav (93.26%), Rank 3 - Koduru Sri Harsha (92.47%), Rank 4 - Gunde Adarsh (92.12%), Rank 6 - Uddevi Jaya Surya (91.95%), Rank 7 - Nalluri Venkat Vijayakrishna (91.31%), Rank 8 - Venkata Sai Amrutha Neeli (91.21% and Rank 9 - V S Tarun Varma (91.18%).

A total of 1.38 lakh students have qualified the AP EAMCET. In the Engineering stream, 72.28 per cent students pass. The pass percentage for Medicine is at 87.6 per cent. The counselling session for AP EAMCET will start from May 26, 2018.

How to check AP EAMCET 2018 result

  1. Go to the official website: sche.ap.gov.in.
  2. Enter Registration Number in the given space
  3. Enter Hall ticket number
  4. Click on View Result button
The AP EAMCET this year was conducted from April 22 to April 25, 2018 in all cities of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.. The test was held in two shifts - morning shift from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm and afternoon from 02:30 pm to 05:30 pm.

The application process for AP EAMCET 2018 ended on March 29.

EAMCET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE and is a prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered by the university/ private colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The examination is held for giving admissions to candidates to courses such as Engineering, Bio-Technology, BTech (Diary Technology), BTech (Agr Engineering), BTech (Food Science and Technology), BSc (Ag), BSc (Hort), BVSc, AH, BFSc, BPharmacy, PharmaD.
