
New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declares online the Class 12th (Class XIIth) Result 2018 today on Saturday May 26, 2018. The overall pass percentage of CBSE Class 12 this year is 83.01 - nearly 1 percentage point increase than 2017 which was 82.02%.
Girls did better than the boys with a pass percentage of 88.31 per cent against boys' 78.99 per cent, CBSE officials said.
The performance of the foreign students has gone up by nearly 2%. In 2017, the pass percentage of foreign students was 92.02 while they registered a pass percentage of 94.94 in 2018. In the differently-abled category 2,836 students appeard of them 2,483 passed taking the overall pass percentage at 87.52%. Vijay Ganesh who scored 492 marks out of 500 topped the CBSE 12th examination 2018 in the differently-abled category.
Meghna Srivastava has topped the CBSE 12th Exam 2018 whereas Anoushka Chandra came 2nd, according to the 12th result declared by India's top education board today morning. Seven students with 497 out of 500 marks are on 3rd position. The Trivandrum region has registered the highest pass per cent with 97.32 per cent with Chennai at 93.87 per cent and Delhi at 98 per cent.
Overall a total of 72,599 candidates scored 90% and above marks, and 12,737 students got 95% and above marks in 2018. About 11.06 lakh students has appeared for the CBSE Class 12 exams in 2018. Of them a total of 9,18,762 candidates have passed.

- Go to the official website cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.nic.in
- Click on 'CBSE Class 12 result 2018' link
- Enter your Roll Number, School No. and Centre No.
- Click on "Submit" button
CBSE 12th Result via SMS and DigiLocker
Besides the official website cbseresults.nic.in, CBSE Class XIIth result can be checked on cbse.nic.in and results.nic.in. Class 12 CBSE students can also check their results via SMS.
Students can use the numbers are 52001 (MTNL), 57766 (BSNL), 5800002 (Aircel), 55456068 (Idea), 54321, 51234 and 5333300 (Tata Teleservices), 54321202 (Airtel), and 9212357123 (National Informatics Centre) to check their result.
The CBSE will also provide Class XII digital mark sheets in DigiLocker at digilocker.gov.in. The DigiLocker account credentials will be sent to students via SMS on their mobile number registered with CBSE. DigiLocker can also be accessed from your mobile phone on Android and iOS platforms.

Students can also view their results on UMANG mobile application which is available for android, iOS and windows based smart phone.
Results on Microsoft and Google search engine
CBSE Class 12th Results 2018 can also be accessed through Google search engine www.google.co.in and Microsoft search engine www.bing.com and SMS Organizer App on mobile which can be installed from playstore aka.ms/sms.
Class 12th results of all regions including CBSE Delhi, CBSE Mumbai, CBSE Ahmedabad, CBSE Hyderabad, CBSE Chennai, CBSE Bengaluru, CBSE Kolkata, CBSE Kerala and other states will be declared on the same day. The results of CBSE Dubai, CBSE UAE, CBSE Riyadh and other international centers will also be declared simultaneously.
A total of 11,86,306 students appeared for CBSE Class 12th 2018 exam at various centres in India and abroad.
In 2017, CBSE Class 12th result was declared on May 28. A total of 10,20,762 students from 10,673 schools had appeared for the 2017 CBSE Class XII exam. 10,091 students had scored over 95% marks and 63,247 had scored over 90% marks in CBSE Class XIIth 2017 exam.
Raksha Gopal of Amity International School Noida was CBSE 12th 2017 topper. She had scored 99.6% marks. Bhumi Sawant De from DAV Chandigarh secured the 2nd position with 99.4% and Aditya Jain from Bhawan Vidyalaya Chandigarh came 3rd with 99.2% in 2017 CBSE 12th board exams. The overall pass percentage in 2017, was 82.02 - a time lower than 83% of 2016.
