Mumbai: Following the strike by Junior College teachers, it was feared that the Maharashtra HSC Class 12th result 2018 declaration will be delayed and it happended just that. The Maharashtra board 12th result 2018 will not be declared today i.e. Saturday May 26, the board officials confirmed.
About a week ago, it was reported by almost all the leading print and electronic media that the Maharashtra Class 12 result will be declared on Saturday May 26, 2018. However, on Friday talking to reporters the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) Secretary said the declaration of Maha HSC 12th result has been delayed.
"We are trying to declare the 12th HSC result by the end of the ongoing month May 2018. You can expect the Maha 12th result on May 30 or 31. If not then the result will be declared only in the first week of June", the MSBSHSE Secretary said.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has a tradition to announce the result declaration date and time at least a day in advance. Hence, if the Maharashtra HSC Result 2018 will indeed be declared on May 30 or May 31, an official statement confirming this should be released at least a day in advance.
The Maharashtra board, also known as Pune board, declares the results online on www.mahresult.nic.in. Results are also available on some other websites including the board's mirror sites like result.mkcl.org. The other websites where the Maharashtra HSC 2017 results can be accessed are http://mh-hsc.ac.in and http://msbshse.ac.in.
The students need to enter their exam seat number and date of birth to see their results. The students will also be able to take the printout from the website. The students can also request their results through SMS. For this, they are required to type MHHSC followed by <seat no> on their mobile phones and send to: 57766. The Printed Marksheet will be given to students later on at the respective schools.
Meanwhile, the Maharashtra 12th result website continues to flash the message which reads, "Results for the Exams conducted in 2018 have not been announced so far. Please look for the announcement at Exam Results Portal (http://results.gov.in)."
The 2018 Class 12 exams were conducted from February 21 and concluded on March 20, while the Class 10 exams were held from March 01 and ended on March 24, 2018. In 2017, the board had declared the Class 12th Maha HSC result on May 30.

Called eMarkSheet, it is a web portal for online verification of statement of marks as well as certificate for SSC (10th) & HSC (12th) for seamless delivery of information/services to its stakeholder like students, colleges, employers etc. in the state of Maharashtra.
The Highre Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC) is conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) during the month of February and March through its nine Divisional Boards, which are primarily located at Pune, Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Latur, Nagpu, Amravati and Ratnagiri.
