Maharashtra CET Cell NEET UG 2019 Counselling: The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) has postponed the 2019 Admission Process of MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPTh, BOTh, BASLP/BP&O and BSc.Nursing Courses citing a court order.
"The Hon'ble Supreme Court has passed the order dated 05/08/2019 in Civil Appeal No. 6135/2019 (Arising out of the SLP (c) No. 16809/2019) with certain directions in admission process for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPTh, BOTh, BASLP, BP&O and BSc.Nursing Courses", Maharashtra CET Cell, which is conducting UG NEET 2019 Counselling for Admission in First Year MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS and other Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses said.
"The State CET Cell is seeking some clarifications in aforesaid order before Hon'ble Supreme Court", the CET Cell said.
"Therefore, the admission process for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPTh, BOTh, BASLP, BP&O and BSc.Nursing courses is postponed till further notice", the CET Cell said in two separate notifications dated August 14 and August 16, 2019.
The Maharashtra CET Cell Notification announcing the postponement of medical admission process came at a time when candidates seeking admission in First Year MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPTh, BOTh, BASLP/BP&O and BSc.Nursing Courses are waiting for the remaining Selection Lists.
The Maharashtra CET Cell had released the First Selection List of admission in BPTh, BOTh, BASLP/BP&O and BSc.Nursing Courses on August 08, 2019.
Maharashtra NEET UG 2019 First Selection list for admission in BAMS, BHMS, BUMS Courses was released on July 26, 2019.
On the other hand, Maharshtra CET Cell has so far released the First and Second Selection Lists for Admission in First Year MBBS and BDS courses.
The Maharshtra CET Cell had released on July 07, 2019.
