JEE Main January 2020 Exam Date: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday released the entire schedule of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main to be held in the month of January 2020. Candidates should note that like previous year, JEE Main January 2020 exam too will be held only in computer based Online Mode.
According to the NTA Schedule, JEE Main January 2020, or JEE Main 1, will be held from January 06 to January 11, 2020 in Online Mode.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) further said online registration for JEE Main January 2020 will start on September 02, 2019. Last date to apply for JEE Main January 2020 is September 30, 2019.
All registered candidates will be able to download their JEE Main January 2020 Admit Card from December 06, 2019. JEE Main January 2020 Results will be declared on January 31, 2020.
The NTA will launch a dedicated website for JEE Main January 2020 Online Regsitration. The website will also contain NTA JEE Main January 2020 Brochure (detailed) for candidates appearing for the entrance test.

A score of at least 75 per cent in class 12 board exams or a place among the top 20 percentile of the Boards is required to be eligible for JEE Main or Advanced. For candidates of the SC and ST categories, this has been lowered to 65 per cent.
Clearing the JEE Main and JEE Advanced papers will make candidates eligible for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech), Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) courses at Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) across India.
NTA has also established a countrywide network of Test Practice Centres (TPCs) for students of rural areas so that everyone will have an opportunity to practice on computers before the online exam. (2,697) Schools/engineering colleges with computer centres are being made available for the purpose. Any student can use the facility free of charge. An App has also beeb developed which will enable the students to choose the nearest TPC.
