TN Health: Admission for Diploma in Pharmacy, Nursing begins; last date Oct 25

Candidates can obtain the application either in person or by post on written requisition to the Principal of selected colleges

TN Health Paramedical Diploma Admission 2019: Selection Committee of Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy Chennai has invited application for admission in first year of 2 and half year Diploma in Integrated Pharmacy (DIP) and Diploma in Nursing Therapy (DNT) courses.

Candidates seeking admission id TN Health Paramedical Diploma Courses i.e. Diploma in Integrated Pharmacy and Dilpoma in Nursing Therapy should note that the last date of application is October 25, 2019.

"Applications are invited for admission to 2 ½ yearsDiploma in Integrated Pharmacy Course and Diploma in Nursing Therapy Courseconducted at Govt. Schools of AYUSH Paramedical Courses, Palayamkottai and Chennai for the academic session 2019-2020 from the candidates who have passed in Higher Secondary course examination (with science subjects) in first appearance", Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy Chennai said in the official notification.

The application form and prospectus can be obtained from the following Govt. Institutions.

The Principal, Government Siddha Medical College, Palayamkottai-627 002.
The Principal, Government Siddha Medical College, AAGHIM campus Chennai – 106.
The Principal, Government Homoeopathy Medical College, Thirumangalam, Madurai District.
The Principal, Government Ayurveda Medical College, Kottar, Nagercoil Kanyakumari District.

"Desirous Candidates can obtain the application either in person or by post on written requisition to the Principal of the above Government colleges duly enclosing a Crossed Demand Draft for Rs.350/- (Rupees Three hundred and fifty Only) drawn in favour of “DIRECTOR OF INDIAN MEDICINE AND HOMOEOPATHY, PAYABLE AT CHENNAI-106” obtained from any one of the nationalized banks on or after 30-09-2019", the Directorate said.

"If the application is required to be sent by post, ordinary postal stamp to the value of Rs.70/- (Rupees Seventy only) should be enclosed along with the requisition", it said.

"The candidates belonging to SC / SC(A) / ST are exempted from paying the cost of application fee. SC / SC(A) / ST candidates have to produce a self attested Xerox copy of the Permanent Community Certificate and self attested Xerox copy of +2 Mark sheet along with the written requisition and get the application form the above mentioned Government Indian Medicine college principals", the Directorate said.

The sales of Applications will be from 30-09-2019 to 25.10.2019 (10.00 am to 5.00 pm) on all working days. The last date for submission / receipt of filled in Application with all necessary enclosures is on or before 25-10-2019upto 5.30 pm.

"The application received after the last date and time will not be accepted irrespective of the date of booking at postal, courier services. No correspondence is entertained in this regard", the Directorate said.

Application Form and Prospectus may be downloaded from the website “www.tnhealth.org” filled and submitted on or before 25.10.2019 Except for SC / SCA / ST candidates others have to enclose Demand Draft towards application cost as mentioned above.
