KVS Admission 2020-21 for Class 1 likely in June

KVS Admission 2020 in Class 1 will start only after the Coronavirus lockdown is lifted, according to the latest upate

KVS Admission 2020-21: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has not yet released the Registration Date for Admission in Class 1. However, it is expected that the KVS Admission 2020-21 process will start in June.

According to the latest update regarding KVS Admission 2020, KVS Admission in Class 1 will start only after the Coronavirus lockdown is lifted.

Since it is expected that the Coronavirus Lockdown in India will be lifted, or at least eased, by June, it is most likely that the KVS Admission process for the year 2020-21 will start by then.

KV Registration for Class 1 not yet started

As of now the parents willing to take admission of their wards in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) should note that The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has not yet released the Registration Date for Admission in Class 1.

Parents should also note that the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has launched the dedicated admission portal for KVS Admission 2020. However, the portal [kvsonlineadmission.in] will be live only after KVS Admission 2020 Notification is released and registration for KVS Admission 2020 Class 1 starts.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) had earlier postponed the KV Admission for the year 2020-21 saying that some changes in the KV admission guidelines are underway.

"Some essential changes/modifications in KVS Admission Guidelines are underway. Therefore, admission process shall be started after such changes/modifications are effected in KVS Admission Guidelines", Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) said ina letter dated March 3 and signed by Joint Commissioner Dr E Prabhakar.

"KVS will issue detailed instructions/ guidelines very soon regarding this subject", the KVS admission notification said.

KVS Admission Portal

Last year, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) had started KV Admission process for Class 1 (Std 1) from March 01. Registration for KVS Admission in Class 2 and above started on April 02 in 2019.

The parents willing to admit their wards in KVs should keep logging in to the KV admission portal launched for online Admission kvsonlineadmission.in.

Parents should note that this link is not yet activated. Link will work properly when the dates for registration will be announced, the KVS said.
