OFSS Inter [Class 11] Admission 2024: Registration re-starts for CBSE, ICSE students

The CBSE 10th and ICSE students can apply for Intermediate Class 11 admission in Bihar till May 20, 2024. Students who have passed from Bihar and other state board can also take advantage of this extended application facility.

OFSS Bihar Inter Admission 2024: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has re-opened the link to receive Online Application forms for Class 11 (Intermediate) Admission 2024 through Online Facilitation System For Students (OFSS) website (www.ofssbihar.info) from CBSE and ICSE students.

The Bihar Education board re-started the Class 11 admission process after the CBSE 2024 Class 10 and ICSE 2024 results were announced by the respective boards. The CBSE Class X 2024 result was declared on May 13, 2024 and ICSE 2024 result was announced on May 06, 2024.

Last Date to Apply

BSEB had started admission process for Class 11 (2024) on April 11, 2024. The last date of application was originally fixed as April 11 which was later extended till April 26, 2024.

The BSEB however re-opened the admission link for the CBSE and ICSE students on May 14, 2024. Students of Bihar and other state boards can also apply in the extended period.

The CBSE 10th and ICSE students can apply for Intermediate Class 11 admission in Bihar till May 20, 2024. Students who have passed from Bihar and other state board can also take advantage of this extended application facility.

Class 11 or Intermediate admission process in a total of 9,907 colleges in Bihar having more than 11 lakh seats is fully online and is conducted through Online Facilitation System for Students.

Steps to fill OFSS Common Application Form

1. Click here to go to the OFSS website: ofssbihar.info.
2. In Important Official Links sction of the Home Page, click on "Apply Online".
3. Once the link becomes active complete all the nine steps.
4. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.

All students are required to pay Rs.350/- application fee through online mode using Debit or Credit card.

"Pay The Requisite Application fee through Online Mode using Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking/ Offline Challan", the Bihar board said.

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) starts receiving Online Application Form for taking admission in Intermediate (Class 11) in all colleges of Bihar in Science, Commerce and Arts streams after 10th result is declared on March 31, 2024.

Admission Steps

Candidates should note that there are 9 steps for admission in Class 11 Bihar colleges. All steps are explained in detail in the prospectus as well as on the website.

The first step starts with students filling the Common Application Form through the website which will be made online soon.

Students are also advised to download the prospectus from OFSS Admission Portal and carefully read it. Besides other details, the prospectus contains last date to upload marks, sports and other quota, date of releasing BSEB OFSS Intermediate Merit List 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

The students who have passed the Matriculation Examination or 10th Class or equivalent examination from Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Central Board for Secondary education (CBSE), Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) or any other State board are eligible to apply online for admission.

CBSE Class 10 and ICSE students can fill the form once they get their result sheet and score card.

Last year, online admission process for Class 11 in Bihar was started on May 17, 2023. The admission notification was published on May 15, 2023.
