The National Testing Agency (NTA) had conducted the Joint CSIR UGC NET 2026 or simply CSIR NET 2026 exam on July 17 and 18, 2026 for 5 subjects in 224 cities across India for 187,739 candidates in Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode.
After successfully conducting the exam, the NTA released on August 16, 2026 CSIR UGC NET Provisional Answer Keys on its official website.
After analyzing the objections raised by the candidates, the NTA released the Final Answer Keys and CSIR UGC NET 2026 results today i.e. Saturday August 29, 2026.
CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Results at a glance
As per the CSIR UGC NET June 2026 result data released by the NTA, a total of 187,739 candidates had registered for the exam. Of them, 150,057 – including 90,380 females and 59,675 males, appeared in the important exam.
The maximum number 67,650 appeared in Life Sciences followed by 30,885 in Chemical Sciences, 24,964 in Mathematical Sciences, 21,810 in Physical Sciences, and 4,748 in Earth Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences.
