India's all-important Muslim vote

Mumbai: AUDF president Maul. Badruddin Ajmal has won by 1.89 lakh votes from Dhubri Lok Sabha constituency in Assam. AUDF candidate from Karimganj Mr. Rajesh Malla is leading by 48 thousand votes from his nearest congress rival. Maul. Ajmal has lost in Silchar against BJP candidates Porkayastha. Mr. Sirajuddin Ajmal has also lost from Nogoan and Kilyabor constituencies against BJP and Congress candidates respectively.

 

It is shocking to know that AUDF candidate from Karimganj, Mr. Rajesh Malla who was leading from the beginning of the first round of counting. Till the last round his lead was 48 thousand. But the final result came favouring congress candidate Lalil Mohan, reported the sources from Karimganj.
