Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National
Urdu University’s Directorate of Distance Education has started
admission process (academic year 2010-11) in different UG, PG,
Diploma and Certificate courses.
According to Prof.
K. R. Iqbal Ahmed, Director (DDE), two new PG Diploma Courses in
Museology and Tourism Management are being introduced from this
academic year.
Prospectus along
with programme guide can be obtained from University Headquarter, 9
regional Centres, 6 Sub-Regional Centres and 160 Study Centres.
For UG courses
such as BA, BCom, B.Sc., programme guide could be obtained by paying
Rs. 200/- through Demand draft in person or by sending Rs. 250/- DD
by post. Such DD’s must be made in favour of concerned Regional
Directors through any nationalized bank only.
MANUU’S
Directorate of Distance Education is also offering Master’s in Urdu,
English and History through Distance mode.
University is also
offering B.Ed. (2 years) for in service teachers.
Diplomas in Teach
English & Journalism and Mass Communication are also available.
University is
offering 6 months certificate courses in proficiency in Urdu through
English/Hindi, Functional English and Food & Nutrition.
For B.Ed.,
prospectus and application form can be obtained by paying Rs. 500
demand draft.
Application can

www.manuu.ac.in.
For students who
have not passed 10+2 or equivalent exam, an eligibility test will be
conducted on 26th December 2010. Last date of
submission of application for ET is 11th October 2010.
Last date for
direct admission is 31st December 2010 and last
date for admissions of ET passed candidates is 31st
Jan. 2011.
