Delhi University to offer 5,000 more seats this year

New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) today launched five new academic programmes in law.

 

The programmes are Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Law, Post Graduate Diploma in Criminal Justice, Certificate in International Humanitarian Law, Certificate in Anti-Human Trafficking and Certificate in Co-operation, Co-operative Law and Business Laws.

 

''Various well-known institutions including WWF, India, International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes (UNODC) will help the university in offering these programmes sepeartely,'' an IGNOU spokesperson said.

 

He further said the the PG Diploma in Environmental Law will be delivered through both distance as well as online mode while the PG Diploma in Criminal Justice will be delivered exclusively through the distance education mode.

 

Other three are six-month certificate programmes which the students can pursue after 10+2.
