Plot to kill Iran's supreme leader unearthed

Islamabad: An alleged
plot to kill Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been
unearthed, a media report here said.
Khamenei recently discussed the matter with Akbar Hashemi
Rafsanjani, chairman of the Expediency Discernment Council, an
administrative council, Geo TV reported Saturday quoting the Aab
TV.
The report however did not say who was behind the plot.
Iranian Petroleum Minister Major General Rostam Qasemi would also
have been murdered, it said.
The meeting between Khamenei and Rafsanjani took place at a secret
location in Tehran, the report added.
