Thiruvananthapuram: A total of one lakh people logged
on to www.keralacm.gov.in website to view live footage of the
Kerala Chief Minister Oomen Chand's chamber and office since the
service was launched Friday, a statement said.
The release issued by Chandy's office Saturday said the response
to the initiative was tremendous on the first day.
"Since this is hosted on a very powerful server, the site did not
get jammed due to the heavy traffic," an official said.
In a movement aimed at transparency, four cameras have been placed
inside his office and chamberand this enables the viewer to see
what is happening inside.
The video feed may soon be supplemented by live audio as well.
