              Applauding the way Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) 
              is progressing, University Grants Commission (UGC) caretaker 
              president Prof Vaid Prakash promised to support everything that 
              the university would need in future. 
              
                
              
              "Chandni chowk has a good number of 
              Urdu speaking people and establishment of such a centre was due 
              for a long time", he said while addressing the opening ceremony of Maulana Azad National Urdu University's Sub-Regional Centre at Chandni Chowk in Delhi March 12. 
              
                
              
              "Giving education to those, who can 
              pay for it, is not enough. The main thing is that the advantage of 
              education should  reach to the people who cannot afford the 
              expenses. MANUU opens the doors of opportunities for such people", 
              he said promising all help that the UGC can extend for Maulana Azad 
              National Urdu University (MANUU). 
              
                
              
              The sub regional centre was inaugurated by Haroon Yusuf, Minister of Power, Civil Supply, Grameen 
              Development, Govt. of Delhi this Saturday. In his inaugural 
              address, he said, the centre would be very help for the Urdu 
              speaking people in the area to acquire 
              higher education. 
              
                
              
              The inaugural function was presided 
              over by MANUU Vice-Chancellor Prof Mohd Miya and also present was
