Newspaper employees in Kerala
hold Raj Bhavan march

Thiruvananthapuram: Employees of various newspapers and news agencies today took out a
march to the Raj Bhavan here demanding immediate implementation of
the Majithia Wageboard's recommendations for journalists and
non-journalists.
The march, attended by employees from different parts of Kerala, was
part of the nationwide agitation by All India Newspaper Employees
Federation and organised by the Kerala Newspaper Employees
Federation (KNEF).
Congress leader M M Hassan, RSP General Secretary T J Chandrachoodan
and Kerala Press Academy Chairman S R Sakthidharan addressed the
employees.
The wageboard had submitted its report to the government on December
31 last year.
