New Delhi: Rajasthan
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot Monday accused Gujarat and Tamil Nadu
chief ministers of making "undignified comments" in their speeches
at the chief ministers' meet here on internal security.
A Rajasthan government official told IANS that Gehlot said the two
chief ministers, Narendra Modi and J. Jayalalithaa, used the
meeting on internal security to score political points against the
central government.
"In his speech, Gehlot said that it was a meeting of national
importance, he said keeping in mind the dignity of the meeting
restrained language should have been used," the official said.
"He also said the tendency to use it as a political platform
should be given up," the official said.
Both Modi and Jayalalithaa had attacked the central government in
their speeches, accusing it of being unfair to states.
