Syed Mohammad Wali Rehmani stable, recovering

Malegaon: Noted scholar, General Secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), former Dy Speaker of Bihar Assembly, one of the senior members of Raabta Aalam-e-Islami and architect of Rehmani 30, Syed Mohammad Wali Rehmani is in good health and is recovering fast at a hospital in Patna, close aides of the Maulana informed ummid.com Tuesday.

 

The Maulana was on way to Batiya in Bihar to address the Taamir-e-Millat conference on Monday when he had a heart attack. He was immediately rushed to a hospital in Patna where his condition is stable, Imtiyaz Rehmani, his close aide, said while talking to ummid.com on phone.

 

The angiography report of the Maulana is also satisfactory and he is responding well to the treatment, he added quoting the hospital staff.

 

He however has been advised complete rest, he said.

 

The Maulana is world-renowned thinker and scholar. He is regarded as spiritual leader for thousands world-over. His efforts for the empowerment of Muslims in India are well-known.

 

Architect of Rehmani 30, the Maulana is instrumental for sending more than 100 Muslim students from financially poor background to the prestigious IITs. In recognition to his efforts, Colombo University had a week ago conferred doctorate on him.
