AMU student tops All India Geological Survey
of India Examination

Mumbai: Shilpi
Gupta of the Residential Coaching Academy at the Aligarh Muslim
University has topped the All India Geological Survey of India
Examination – 2012. She stood fourth in the Hydrologist Category
and ranked second in Geologist category, a university official
said Monday.
Shilpi Gupta completed her B. Sc. in Geology and M. Sc. in Applied
Geology from the Department of Geology, AMU, according to
Prof. Mirza Asmer Beg, Director, Residential Coaching Academy.
He said that seven students of the Residential Coaching Academy
have been selected in the Bihar Judicial Services Examination
2012.
They are Sharib Ali (LLM), Kuldeep Singh Chandel (LLM),
Susheel Kumar Singh (LLM), Shehryar Mohd. Afzal (LLB), Shema Eram
(LLM), Jabin Jamal (LLM) and Aditya Kumar Singh (LLB, MA Human
Rights).
