Mumbai:
On Dilip Kumar's 90th birthday Tuesday, members of the Hindi film
fraternity saluted the veteran actor and wished the best for him.
Actors and filmmakers took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
Here's what they wrote:
Javed Akhtar: In my dictionary Dilip Kumar means dignity, depth,
sensitivity, subtlety, sophistication and class. Happy birthday
Dilip saheb.
Shabana Azmi: Happy birthday Dilip saheb. There has not been
another like you. We continue to draw inspiration from your
performances and your commitment.
Manoj Bajpayee: Salute to Dilip saheb and his commitment to the
craft! May you live for 1000 years and keep entertaining us.
Farah Khan: Happppy birthday to Dilip saheb! First stampede I ever
saw was when I was 5, at a wedding! He walked on to the stage and
500 women jumped onto it, breaking it!
Aman Verma: A very happy birthday to the greatest actor our
industry has ever produced. All of us are clones of his style of
acting. Salutations DILIP KUMAR.

'Actor' Pankaj Kapoor doesn't interfere in creative decisions
He has years of experience in showbiz, but actor-director Pankaj
Kapoor says that when he works as an actor, he doesn't interfere
in the creative decisions of any film.
"When I am doing a role, I don't think of direction. Whatever my
director says, I do that... and whatever is the demand of my
character, I only do that. I don't get into creative decisions of
the director as I am acting in it," said Pankaj.
Pankaj made his directorial debut with the 2011 film "Mausam" with
Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. The film didn't meet the
expectations of the audience.
As an actor, Pankaj is now gearing up for the release of his new
film "Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola". Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj,
the film also features Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma. It releases
Jan 11.

Sequels are like any other movie: Jacqueline
Of the six films that Jacqueline Fernandez has done so far, three
have been sequels. But the actress says she treats them like any
other movie.
"This is my third sequel. I treat them as any other movie. I don't
think it makes a difference in terms of how I would view my
character. I think you make the most of it. But what's great is
that you can be part of, what I would call, a legacy. So you don't
mind that," she told IANS.
The actress, who made her Bollywood debut in 2009 with "Aladin",
has been part of sequels like "Murder 2", "Housefull 2" and now
"Race 2", which releases Jan 25.
