Abu Dhabi: The UAE's Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA) has signed a Memorandum
of Understanding (MoU) with the Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU).
The objective is to benefit from e-learning services provided by
the university in the fields of professional development,
leadership, management and others.
The MoU was signed as both parties wanted to build a solid
strategic partnership in support of the UAE Government Strategic
Plan and to promote collaboration between government bodies and
educational and academic institutions to serve the UAE society.
While EIADA is an independent federal authority empowered with
powers for the execution of the Population Register and the ID
card programme, Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University is UAE's first
e-university comprising four main colleges, e- School of Business
and Quality management, school of e-education, e-school of Health
and Environmental studies and e-school of Continuing Education.
