In yet another show of impressive performance, Rahmani 30 students of
Bihar cleared the Regional Mathematical Olympiad exams held in
Patna in December last.
Out of the 30 students who cleared
the prestigious exam, 7 are Muslims. Of them, 6 students are from
Rehmani 30. Rahmani 30, run by the Rahmani Foundation of Patna, is
known for the IIT JEE coaching it provides to the Muslim students
from economically backward families", Shabbirul Huda of Rahmani
Foundation said to ummid.com.
In an extraordinary show, the six
Rahmani 30 students who cleared the Regional Mathematical Olympiad
secured 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 10th, 16th and 21st positions.
The names and positions of these
students are: Rehan Zia (2nd) , Mubashir Imam (3rd), Yazid Bashmakh
(4th), Aamir Raza (10th), Mohd Maaz (16th) and Sajid Iqbal (21st).
A total of 900 students from over
the Bihar state had appeared for the exams which was held on
December 04, 2011.
These successful students will now
appear for the National Mathematical Olympiad, the exams for which
will be held on February 05, 2012 in Mumbai.
Rahmani Foundation which provides
IIT Joint Entrance Exams coaching to poor Muslim students came to
the limelight when 10 of its students cleared the IIT JEE exams in
one shot. All these students were from municipal schools.
Rahmani Foundation, which is based
in Patna, is established and run by noted Islamic scholar Maulana
Syed Mohammad Wali Rahmani. Bihar IG Abhyanand personally monitors
the preparations and progress of all the students.
