Bhopal: The Central
Bureau of Investigative (CBI) Saturday questioned Madhya Pradesh
legislator Dhruv Narayan Singh on his alleged role in RTI activist
Shehla Masood's murder last year, sources said.
CBI sources said that the Bharatiya Janata Party legislator's
close aide Sanjay Gupta, a builder, was also summoned along with
him. They said there was a possibility of the lawmaker being
arrested.
The probe agency earlier arrested architect Zahida Parvez
suspected to be close to the Bhopal legislator.
Investigators recovered a diary of Parvez which threw light on her
relations with the legislator, sources said.
Along with Parvez, her friend Saba Farooqui and a criminal Shaqib
are also in CBI custody for questioning.
Masood, 32, was shot dead in front of her house here Aug 16 last
year. The CBI took over the case three weeks after the murder.
