China deletes over 200 porn microblogs

Beijing: China has shut down 225 microblog accounts and punished the owners of 154 websites for spreading pornographic content.

According to a statement released by the State Internet Information Office, the move followed investigation based on tips from whistleblowers, Xinhua reported.
