Pakistan sets date with Saudi dates

Islamabad: Thousands
of boxes of dates gifted by Saudi Arabia to Pakistan are set to be
distributed in various provinces of the country.
The Saudi government had sent 9,900 boxes of dates as gift on
March 8, Online news agency reported.
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani Saturday approved their
distribution in the provinces of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber
Pakhtoonkhwa and Balochistan.
People in Islamabad, the Gilgit-Baltistan region, the Federally
Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Pakistani Kashmir will also
be able to savour the tasty treat.
