Mumbai: The Bombay High Court Thursday allowed the release of the controversial film 'Ya Rab' after the filmmakers and distributors assured that the film will be screened without the objectionable scenes.
The Bombay High Court also said that it will again discuss the matter on February 13 and see if the film released without objectionable contents hurt the religious sentiments of the petitioner.
The Bombay High Court today's interim judgement was in response to a petition filed by Jamiatt-e-Ulema Maharashtra seeking a ban on the film.
The film, titled as 'Jihad Against Terrorism' invited the ire of the Muslims leaders who said the film is anti-Muslim and is unnecessarily linking Muslims with terrorism.
