Aligarh: INDCAT, one of the largest Bibliographic Database of Indian Universities/Institutions, has put the Aligarh Muslim University on number five among twenty-five largest doctoral theses producing Universities of India.
INDCAT, which is supported by INFLIBNET, is a unified online library catalogue of books, theses and journals available in major University libraries in India. In the present study, the INDCAT has analyzed the doctoral theses records of science, Arts and humanities.
According to the study, Aligarh Muslim University holds fifth position with 9564 doctoral theses to its account.
