Hyderabad: Results of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2014 conducted by the CBSE have been declared and they are now available online on www.cbse.nic.in and www.ctet.nic.in.
According to a CTET official, the results were expected to be declared on October 21, 2014 but they were announed on October 8, 2014 - about ten days in advance as scheduled earlier.
More than 6.98 lakh candidates appeared for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) which was conducted on September 21, 2014 for appointment of teachers for classes 1 to 8.
The exam was conducted at 962 centres all over the country, and two centres abroad. In Srinagar, the exam was postponed due to heavy flood.
Paper I was conducted from 2pm to 4:30pm for candidates who wish to be a teacher for classes I to V, and Paper II was conducted from 9:30 pm to 12 noon for candidates who wish to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
