New Delhi: Counting of votes in the assembly elections to Delhi began at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Initial results available at 08:30 a.m. showed that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which was predicted to sweep the polls by all exit polls, is leading on 11 seats whereas the Bharti Janata Party (BJP) is leadeing on 9 seats.
Congress is leading on two seats, according to initial trends.
A total of 673 candidates are in the fray for 70 assembly seats.
