The results of MAH-CET 2015 exams conducted every year by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra for admission to MBA and MMS post graduate courses will be declared on March 25, an official said.

The results will be declared online on the DTE Maharashtra official website.

Out of the total 60,292 aspirants, who had registered, over 57,000 had appeared for the test held on March 14 and 15 this year. Compared to previous exams, this was found to be a very high turnout percentage, as per the data released by DTE, Maharashtra.

DTE data also shows that 55,998 registered students out of the total were from Maharashtra state whereas 4,294 candidates were from OMS category.

Despite some technical glitches, the overall examination was conducted smoothly. Earlier, the DTE has also announced that it has changed the evaluation criteria and questions with errors will not be considered for marking.

The DTE after complaints by the students decided that the number of questions to be evaluated in each session of the exam would be reduced in accordance to the number of ‘wrong questions/answers’ appeared in the said slot.

As such the evaluation of answer sheets will remain limited to the correct questions followed by correct answer options. A process of Standardized equi-percentile shall be adopted in the evaluation process while awarding marks to the test takers.

MAH-CET 2015 had questions to complete the concluding part of the sentence, and also had had some questions on jumbled sentences and core grammar. There were also questions asking to fill in the blanks.

Questions on error corrections in sentences were similar to the ones that appear in various recruitment examinations of banks, insurance companies, central and state government exams.

There was a section on analytical reasoning, verbal and non verbal reasoning. Questions in quantitative aptitude section were attemptable but time consuming.
