
Lucknow: After a long wait and delays of several weeks, the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) finally declared online the JEECUP and UP Polytechnic results 2016 today i.e. Saturday June 11 on its official website.
The JEECUP and UP Polytechnic result 2016 are ready for download on www.jeecup.org and www.jeecup.nic.in.
Students can directly go to the JEECUP official website to check thei result.
Once on the result page, enter "Roll Number" then "Date of Birth" in the given format i.e. DD/MM/YYY and click on "Submit" button.
In case of any mistake, students can click on "Reset" button and re-enter all the details.
The Joint Entrance Examination Council (JEE(P)-2016) Uttar Pradesh did not disclose in advance the exact timing for making the results public.
The result of JEECUP was first to be out on 30-31 May, then 2nd June for the second time, 7th June for the third time and 8th June for the fourth time. After Council’s Secretary FR Khan said that result is ready will be out soon, it was expected to be out yesterday on 9th June. However, the UP Polytechnic JEE results didn’t get released on Thursday too.
Close to 1.3 lakh seats are to filled in government, aided, un-aided polytechnic colleges of the state for the academic session set to take off in July. But it doesn’t seem feasible at the moment that all proceedings will take place timely when council is over it’s head about re-test of Applied Maths exam and entrance results aren’t even out yet.
"The answer key and provisional marks will be made available on 4th June on official website. After concluding this process, the UP Polytechnic result will be released by 7th June", Shivakant Dwivedi, the Special Secretary of JEECUP, has been quoted as saying.
The answer sheets were displayed online on Saturday and the process of submitting challenges was concluded yesterday on 6th June, 8 pm. Therefore it is expected that the JEECUP and UP Polytechnic result 2016 will be declared any moment.s
The JEECUP UP Polytechnic examination 2016 was held on May 01 at around 1,200 test centres.
To bring transparency in the exam, Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) had made the answer keys available on 4 June, making candidates able to know how much of their attempted answer are correct in the test. The Council had called more than 100 teachers from different centers to settle the challenges against answer keys within 48 hours, between 4 June to 6 June.
Nearly 4,70,379 candidates who took JEECUP 2016 for getting admission in around 56 trades of polytechnic colleges in the state will be able to access their scores once the results are declared.
Joint Entrance Examination Council (Sanyukt Pravesh Pariksha Parishad, U.P.) has been established on 4th November 1986. Principal Secratary, Technical and Vocational Education U.P. Government is ex officio Chairman of the Council. Joint Entrance Examination Council is a Self-Finance body which is established under the society Act-1860.
