Indiana: In her first tweet since August the American Singer Star Janet Jackson finally broke her Twitter silence on Saturday after she wrote to her fans on social network, “Hey you guys.. It's been a while.. but I'm still listening. I feel your love and prayers.. Thank you.. and I'm doing well.. Al Hamdu lillah.'
The 50-year old pop singer is soon expecting her first child with her Qatari billionaire husband, Wissam Al-Mana.
Janet who is said to have converted to Islam signed off with the Arabic phrase which means 'Praise be to God.' It was confirmed last month that the Grammy winner is expecting her first child with Wissam, aged 41, who she secretly married in 2012. But it wasn't until 2013 that she confirmed the nuptials.
Earlier this year, the Rhythm Nation singer announced she was delaying her Unbreakable World Tour.
"My husband and I are planning our family," she revealed in a Twitter video. "So I'm going to have to delay the tour."
The Oscar nominee continued: "Please if you can, try and understand that it's important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor's orders!"
"But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can", Janet added.
Janet is the youngest child of the Jackson family. She began her career with the variety television series 'The Jacksons' in 1976 and went on to appear in other television shows throughout the 1970s and early 1980s, including Good Times and Fame.
