
Mumbai: Prof. Touheed Mujawar has been unanimously elected as Vice-President of Maharashtra Training & Placement Officers Association (MaTPO) at its Governing Council Meeting held on November 21 in Pune, post the AGM held on November 14 in Mumbai.
He is the youngest professor to be elected as Vice President of Maharashtra Training & Placement Officers Association (MaTPO) - a leading Training and Placement body.
Prof.Sheetal Rawandle, Dean-PCCOE, Pune was elected as President, Prof.Sanjay Dhaigude Dean- Walchand College of Engineering Sangli was elected as Exeexutuve Director, Prof. Sanjay Jadhav Training and Placement Officer (TPO) of Saraswati College Mumbai as Secretary, Prof. Faisal Khan TPO-Vishwaniketan College of Engineering Mumbai as Joint Secretary and Prof. Madhav Raul Dean-SVERI, Pandharpur was elected as Treasurer.
Touheed Mujawar, the Dean of Annasaheb Dange College of Engineering & Technology, an autonomous institute in Ashta, Sangli district is considered amongst India’s top 15 Employability Enunciators cum Placement Officers.
He was awarded by Union Sport Minister Vijay Goel in New Delhi recently.
Touheed Mujawar has also served as Executive Director Jamia Group of Institutions, Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar. Jamia Group of Institutions, Akkalkuwa is one of the biggest Muslim minority organisations in India.
“It is a great responsibility and opportunity for contributing in the field of improving the quality of technical education for enhancing employability skills and for preparing our youngsters for their first job in the fast evolving competitive environment", Professor Mujawar said after his election.
