London: Apple Inc, one of the world's largest smartphone manufacturer, has reportedly sacked from his post an engineer whose video blogger daughter had posted a clip giving details of yet to be launched iPhone X.
Video blogger Brooke Amelia Peterson had claimed to have picked up Apple iPhone X- the 10th anniversary iPhone, while visiting her dad who works for Apple at the California HQ, and posted a video on her YouTube channel days before its launch.
In the video Amelia Peterson shows all the main features of iPhone X to be launched on November 03 while sitting in the company's cafeteria with her father.
Apple had reportedly requested Peterson to remove the video, but it was too late as the content had gone viral.
Peterson now in a video claimed her father has been fired as a result of her video, which was in violation of an Apple company rule, which prohibits filming on its campus.
"I made this video for fun because I love making Youtube videos," she said.
"I had no subscribers. I had no views. But I don't care. So I made this little, innocent video that was supposed to be just a fun memory of me and my family. That's all that making videos is to me."
She also said she and her father understood the decision and weren't angry at Apple.
Apple Inc has not issued any statement on the claim.
