
Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UPSEB), also known as Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), has declared the results of the Uttar Pradesh board Class XII Intermediate exam, held in February 2018, on its official website upresults.nic.in.
The Up board 2018 Inter topper is Rajnish Shukla of Sarvodaya Inter College, Fatehpur. he got 93.20 per cent marks and secured the first rank. Aakash Maurya of Barabanki has also scored 93.20 per cent marks and shared the first rank with Rajnish.
Ananya Rai of Gazipur who got 92.6% marks came 2nd, Abhishek Kumar of Moradabad came 3rd with 92.% marks and scoring 92.2% marks Ajit Patel: of Barabanki came 4th.
The UP board Intermediate 2018 overall pass percentage is at 72.43. The pass percentage for Class 12th stands at 67.36% for boys and 78.44% is the pass percentage for girls.
The UP board UPMSP Class 12 results 2018 are declared on the official website today i.e. Sunday April 29 at 12:30 pm. The UP board Inter Class 12 results of Science, Commerce and Arts, all three streams, have been declared today on the offidicial websites.
Students can now access and check their Class 12 Inter results 2018 on the board's official websites upresults.nic.in and upmspresults.up.nic.in, as well as on a number of other websites like Indiaresults.com.

In order to check UP board or Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad 12th Inter results, candidates should follow the simple steps as given below.

The evaluation of the answer sheets began on March 17. More than 1.45 lakh examiners were involved in the assessment of Answer Sheets of the students who had appeared for the 2018 Class 10 Matric and Class 12 Inter exams.
The UP board headquartered in Allahabad started conducting the Class 12 Inter 2018 board exams from February 06 to March 12, 2018. A total of 66,37,018 students had registered the 2018 UP board Class 10 and Class 12 exams. These include 36,55,691 students who registered for Class 10 exams and 29,81,327 students who had applied for Class 12 exams.
In 2017, the UP board Class XII results were declared on June 09. Overall pass percentage of Class 12 UP board 2017 exams was 82.5%. Priyanshi Tiwari of Saraswati Bal Mandir Inter College had topped the Class 12 Uttar Pradesh board exams 2017 scoring 96.20% marks. Bhawana, Sonam Singh and Vijay Laxmi Singh shared the second rank with 95.80 % marks.
In 2016, UP board Class 12 pass percentage was 87.99 per cent.
The UP Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council. It conducted its first examination in 1923. This Board is one in India which, from the very start, had adopted 10+2 system of examination.
The first public examination after 10 years education is High School Examination and after the 10+2 stage, there is Intermediate Examination. Prior to 1923, University of Allahabad was the examining body of these two examinations. At present there are 9121 secondary schools recognized by the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education.
