
Allahabad: The Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Allahabad Uttar Pradesh has declared online the High School or Class 10 (UPMSP Class X) result 2018 today i.e. Sunday April 29 on its official website upresults.nic.in.
Allahabad girl Anjali Verma is the 2018 UP State topper securing the first rank. Yashaswi of Fatehpur came second with 94.50% marks. Vinay Kumar Verma of Sitapur came 3rd with 94.17 per cent and Swati Verma of Gonda who bagged 94.1 per cent marks came 4th.
This year, around 75.16% students have cleared the examination successfully. The girls have outperformed boys, 78.81% girls cleared the examination successfully, while the pass percentage of boys is 72.27, according to the UP board.
The UP board 10th results 2018 is available for access on upresults.nic.in - the official website of the Allahabad board. The UP board 10th results can also be checked on IndiaResults.com and some other websites. If compared with last year, this year the Allahabad board is declaring the UP board exam results more than a month in advance than the last year.
How to Check UP board result 2018 Class 10
In order to check the UP 10th Matric results, candidates should follow the simple steps as given below.

- Click on Submit button
- Results will be displayed on the screen
- The candidates are advised to take a printout for future use.
The UP board headquartered in Allahabad started conducting the Class 10 Matric from February 06, 2018. A total of 66,37,018 students had registered the 2018 UP board Class 10 and Class 12 exams. These include 36,55,691 students who registered for Class 10 exams and 29,81,327 students who had applied for Class 12 exams.
The evaluation of the answer sheets began on March 17. More than 1.45 lakh examiners were involved in the assessment of Answer Sheets of the students who had appeared for the 2018 Class 10 Matric and Class 12 Inter exams.
In 2017, UP board results were declared on result on June 09. In 2016 and 2015, the Lucknow board results were declared in the month of May. The pass percent of UP board Class 10 High School exam 2017 was 81.18%. In 2016, the overall pass percentage in high school exams was 87.66% - 3.92 points more than the previous year. In intermediate, 87.99% students passed in 2016 - 0.84% less than in 2015.
The UP Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council. It conducted its first examination in 1923. This Board is one in India which, from the very start, had adopted 10+2 system of examination.
The first public examination after 10 years education is High School Examination and after the 10+2 stage, there is Intermediate Examination. Prior to 1923, University of Allahabad was the examining body of these two examinations.
At present there are 9121 secondary schools recognized by the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education.
