New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Thursday made available online on its official website upsconline.nic.in the link to download e-Admit cards for Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination 2019 to be held on Sunday January 06, 2019.

The UPSC Engineering Service Prelims Exam is scheduled to be held on Sunday January 6, 2019. Over 400 vacancies in different engineering disciplines will be filled after the final exam.
The examination will be conducted as per the following plan:
Engineering Services (Preliminary/Stage-I) Examination (Objective Type Papers) for the selection of candidates for the Stage-II: Engineering Services (Mains/Stage-II) Examination.
Engineering Services (Mains/Stage-II) Examination (Conventional Type Papers).
Personal Inerview
Recruitment on the results of this examination will be made to the services/posts under the following categories:
Category I: Civil Engineering
Category II: Mechanical Engineering
Category III: Electrical Engineering
Category IV: Electronics &Telecommunication Engineering
"There will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective type Question Papers", UPSC said in the official release.
"Answers other than those made by Black Ball Point Pen would not be evaluated", it added.
"Mobile Phones, Calculators, IT Gadgets and any other Communication device such as Bluetooth etc. are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any Infringements of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations", the UPSC said.
"All the candidates who have applied for UPSC Engineering Services (IES / ESE) Prelims Exam 2019, can download their eAdmit Card from the official portal. No admit card will be sent through offline mode", the UPSc said.
