
Patna: About 1000 students were expelled for cheating in Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) 2018 Class 12, also known as Intermediate, exams which ended on Friday.
Talking to reporters after the annual exam ended, Anand Kishore, the Chairman of the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) said authorities also caught some 25 "fake students" who tried to write the exams for others.
As many as 114 students were expelled for cheating on the first day of the BSEB Inter Class 12 exams which began on Februray 06, 2018.
Reports of paper leak and mass copying also marred the BSEB Bihar Class 12 Intermediate exams.
The exam, conducted at 1,384 examination centres across the state, was held for all the three streams - Arts, Commerce, and Science, are conducted in two shifts.
The first paper was of Biology for Science students, Enterpreneurship for Commerces students in the morning shift.
For Arts the first paper was of Philosophy on February 06, 2018 afternoon shift. Hindi was the first paper for Vocational Course in the second shift on February 06.
The first shift was from morning 09:45 to afternoon 01:00 whereas the second shift was from 01:45 pm to 05:00 pm.
