Vaibhava Srivastava tops the list of 110 who crack UPSC IFS 2017 exams

UPSC IFS 2017 Final Result

Vaibhava Srivastava came first whereas Ayush Verma and Abhijit Gupta respectively came second and third in the Indian Forest Services (IFS) 2017 exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

The UPSC announced the IFS 2017 result late in the night Monday. The UPSC IFS 2017 Main Exam was held in December 2017. The Main exam was followed by Personal Interview which was held in February 2018.

A total of 110 candidates who have been recommended for various posts of the Indian Forest Servies (IFS), the UPSC said.

"Appointment to the Service will be made by the Government according to the number of vacancies available and fulfilling of other criteria", the UPSC said.

Also among the recommended candidates are Mohammad Maaz, Asim Khan and Praveen A.

The 110 candidates who have been declared passed include 46 candidates from General category, 40 belonging to OBC, 16 to SC and 8 to ST.

Nine candidates have also been temporarily recommended.

"The candidature of the 09 recommended candidates is provisional", the UPSC said.
