Kalpana Kumari tops BSEB Bihar 12th Inter 2018 exams with 434 marks

Bihar Class 12 Result 2018: The results of Bihar board BSEB Class 12 examination has been declared today. About 45% students cleared in Science, 82% passed in Commerce stream whereas 42% passed in BSEB 12th Arts stream 2018 exams.

Kalpana Kumari of Science stream has topped the BSEB Bihar board Intermediate 2018 examination. She scored a total of 434 marks. Nidhi Sinha RDS College, Muzzafarpur has topped in the Commerce stream. She has also got 434 marks.

Kusum Kumari, a student of Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya, Jamui, has topped in Arts stream with 424 marks.

The Bihar government has announced a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh for the toppers, along with a laptop and a kindle e-reader. The 2nd and 3rd topper will get a cash prize of Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 each and the 4th and 5th rank holder from each stream will get Rs 15,000 and a laptop.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) declared online the result of the Intermediate or Class 12th Arts, Science and Commerce 2018 examinations conducted by the state board in the month of February today on Wednesday June 06 at 04:00 pm.

Steps to check BSEB Intermediate 2018 Result

  1. Visit the official website -
  2. Click on 'Intermediate Examination Result 2018 Now Available' link
  3. Enter your Roll Number
  4. Click on 'Find Results' button
  5. The results will appear on the screen. The candidates must take a print-out for future reference

The Bihar board 12th Inter Arts, Science and Commerce results can also be checked on, and other websites.

A total of 12,07,986 students appeared for the Bihar board Class 12 examination which was held from February 6 to February 16, 2018, at around 1,384 centres across the state.

The BSEB Patna board 2018 Intermediateexams began from February 06 and ended on February 16, 2018. About 12.80 lakh candidates registered for the Class 12 Inter 2018 exams. The BSEB board had also released Model Question Papers before the exams. The BSEB Bihar board 2018 exam was marred by reports of paper leak, though cases of mass copying as reported in previous years were controlled.

In 2017, the results of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Arts, Science and Commerce all three streams were declared on May 30. The overall pass percentage of Science stream was 30.11% in 2017. On the other hand, the pass percentage of Arts stream was 37% and for the Commerce it was 73.76%.

The Bihar School Examination Board is established for holding and conducting an examination at the end of the Secondary School stage, for prescribing course of studies for such examination and for carrying out such other objects and duties as may be considered necessary for the purpose as stated in the Act, Rules and Regulations of the Board.
