Maha 12th 2018 Topper: Gawade Amol Dilip has secured the top position in the Maharashtra HSC 2018 exam. He scored 642 out of the total 650 marks, according to the Maharashtra HSC 2018 result declared by MSBSHSE today afternoon.
The second position is grabbed by Amit Kisan who scored 639 out of 650. The third rank is shared by three students — Chavan Dhanashri Eknath, Sahu Ritika Ramnaresh, Aditya Surendrakumar. They scored 637 out of 650 each, according to the Maharshtra board.
This is for the first time the Maharshtra board has released the details of toppers. Till last year, there was no merit list and details of toppers released by the Maharashtra board.
The Maharashra state registered an overall pass percentage of 88.41% in the the Higher Secondary School (HSC) Class 12th board March 2018 exams. As many as 5,486 candidates have score more than 90% marks.
With a pass percentage of 92.36%, girls have outperformed boys. Boys registered a pass percentage of 85.23%. A total of 5379 handicapped students had appeared for the exams out of them 5,374 have passed bringing the pass percentage to 91.78.
The results of Maharashtra HSC Science, Arts and Commerce all three streams and of all nine regions in Pune, Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Latur, Nagpu, Amravati and Ratnagiri have been declared today by the Maharashtra state education board.
Science faculty recorded a pass percentage of 95.85. Pass percentage for Commerce is 89.50 whereas MCVC stream recorded a pass percentage of 82.18. Students wrote exams for 210 subjects of which 56 subjects had 100 percent results.
Regionwise, Konkan division registered the highest pass percentage of 94.85%. Pune got the pass percentage of 89.58%. A total of 210,963 students passed the examination out of 235,502 appeared students n Pune region. Nagpur stands on second position with pass percent of 87.57%. A total of 144,170 students passed the examination out of 164,627 appeared students in Nagpur.

How to check Maharashtra HSC Result 2018 via SMS
Maharashtra students can also request their results through SMS. For this, they are required to type MHHSC followed by <seat no> on their mobile phones and send to: 57766. The Printed Marksheet will be given to students later on at the respective schools.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is divided in nine Divisional Boards located in Pune, Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Latur, Nagpu, Amravati and Ratnagiri. The Maharashtra board declares the 12th results of all the nine dvisional boards on the same day and at the same time.
The 2018 Class 12 exams were conducted from February 21 and concluded on March 20, while the Class 10 exams were held from March 01 and ended on March 24, 2018. In 2017, the board had declared the Class 12th Maha HSC result on May 30.

Called eMarkSheet, it is a web portal for online verification of statement of marks as well as certificate for SSC (10th) & HSC (12th) for seamless delivery of information/services to its stakeholder like students, colleges, employers etc. in the state of Maharashtra.
