The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha has already declared the CHSE Class 12th Science Intermediate Result on May 19, 2018. The state registered an overall pass percentage of 77.98 in Science stream. The district with the best performance was Balasore whereas district Gajapati registered the lowest pass percentage.
CHSE Orissa Plus Two examination was held from March 6 to March 29, 2018. About 3.80 lakh students from 1,504 colleges in Science, Arts, Commerce and Vocational education streams appeared for the CHSE Plus Two examination 2018 held at 1,106 centres across the state.
In 2017, a total of 3,80,707 students had appeared for CHSE 12th Arts and Commerce examination. The pass percentage of Arts stream was 71.17 whereas that of Commerce was 71.43 in 2017. The overall pass percentage of Science stream was 81.11% in 2017.
The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha was established in accordance with the Odisha Higher Secondary Education Act 1982 to regulate, control and develop Higher Secondary Education in the State of Orissa. The administrative function of the Council commenced from 7th September 1982 in Bhubaneswar.
