Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Education MinisterProfessor C Raveendranath announced the results of Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or Class 10 board examination 2018 on behalf of Kerala Education Department, also known as Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan, today morning in Thiruvananthapuram.
According to the result released today, Kerala SSLC 2018 overall pass percentage is 97.84% whereas THSLC pass percentage is 98.6. District Ernakulam district has given the best performance as far as the result is concerned, with 99.12 per cent. Wayanad district showed poor result record with 93.87 per cent.
The 2018 Kerala board 10th results are declared today on Thursday at 10:30 am. They are now live on the board's official website as well as on a number of other websites. Students can go to any website and check their SSLC result now.
How to Check Kerala SSLC Results 2018
- Go to Kerala Education Department website: keralaresults.nic.in.
- Enter Register Number and Date of Birth
- Click the ‘Get Result’ button to view Kerala Board 10th Result 2018
- Download and Save your result for future reference
The Kerala SSLC result are also declared via the official DHSE App, Saphalam, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. Kerala SSCL result can also be checked using SMS. To check your result via SMS type - KERALA10<space>REGISTRATION NUMBER abd Send the message to 56263.
Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has announced the SSLC result 2018 at www.kerala.gov.in, www.keralaresults.nic.in, www.results.itschool.gov.in, www.cdit.org, www.examresults.kerala.gov.in, www.prd.kerala.gov.in, www.results.nic.in and www.educationkerala.gov.in.
Along with Kerala SSLC result 2018, results of THSLC (hearing impaired), AHSLC and SSLC (hearing impaired) will be released.
It should be noted that the online Kerala SSLC result 2018 could vary from the original score, in such a case the Kerala SSLC Result 2018 in the original marks sheet will be considered final.
Kerala SSLC 2018 exam began on March 4 and ended on March 27, 2018. More than 04 lakh students from all across the state appeared for the Kerala Class 10 (SSLC) exam. This is similar to the total number of students who had appeared in 2017. In 2017, overall pass percent was about 96%.
Last year, Kerala Class 10 SSLC result was declared on May 05, 2017 whereas in 2016 SSLC result was declared on April 26. Hence it is most likely that the Kerala Class 10 result 2018 will also be announced around this date. At the same time, some media reports are also claiming that Kerala 2018 SSLC result can be declared in the last week of April.
Students can choose to apply for re- evaluation and re-checking of examination papers, if they feel that they have not been awarded marks as expected and as per the answers they had written in the examination.
The Pareeksha Bhawan conducts the SSLC examination in the state of Kerala. Apart from the SSLC examination, Pareeksha Bhawan also conducts Kerala DHSE Board Exam and other examinations, for certification of qualified teaching faculty through KTET and other similar examinations.
