Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on Thursday refused to confirm that the BSEB Intermediate or Class 12th results will be declared on Monday May 14.
Commenting on the reports circulating in the media that BSEB 12th results could be declared on May 14, officials said preparation of result is in the final stage but refused to specify any actual date to declare the Patna board Class 12 result.
Meanwhile, a source close to the Bihar education board, while talking to ummid.com said it will take at least ten more days to finalise the results. “There is no way that the BSEB 12th Inter result will be declared before May 24”, the source who did not wish to be named said citing top board officials.
Reports in the media had earlier claimed that the BSEB Class 12 result will be declared on May 11. Some reports then said the BSEB Class 10 as well as Class 12 results both will be declared on May 14, 2018.
The BSEB PRO himself had on Thursday denied all these reports. However, board sources confirm that BSEB 12th Science, Arts and Commerce results will be declared first, and BSEB Matric Class 10 result will be declared 2-3 days later.
After the Uttar Pradesh Board declared the Class 10 and Inter results on April 29 – about a month in advance, rumors were taking rounds suggesting that the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Intermediate and Class 10 Matric results too will be declared in the first week of May. The BSEB official however refuted these reports.
The results of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Arts, Science and Commerce all three streams were declared in 2017 on May 30. Therefore even if the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) declares 2018 Inter results in the second week of May, as claimed by the official, it will mean that the results are declared at least two weeks earlier than the last year.
Once released, the students can check their 12th Inter 2018 scores on the official website – biharboard.ac.in.

- Select your stream
- Enter your Roll Number
- Click on 'Submit' button
- The results will appear on the screen. The candidates must take a print-out for future reference
The BSEB Patna board 2018 Intermediateexams began from February 06 and ended on February 16, 2018. About 12.80 lakh candidates registered for the Class 12 Inter 2018 exams. The BSEB board had also released Model Question Papers before the exams. The BSEB Bihar board 2018 exam was marred by reports of paper leak, though cases of mass copying as reported in previous years were controlled.
The Bihar School Examination Board is established for holding and conducting an examination at the end of the Secondary School stage, for prescribing course of studies for such examination and for carrying out such other objects and duties as may be considered necessary for the purpose as stated in the Act, Rules and Regulations of the Board.
