JEE Advanced 2018: Candidates' Responses released online

Mumbai: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur late in the night Friday released online Paper 1 and Paper 2 Responses of the candidates who had appeared for the JEE Advanced 2018 held on Sunday May 20, 2018.

Candidates should note that they need to login to Candidate Portal cportal.jeeadv.ac.in to view their responses in Paper 1 and Paper 2. The responses of the candidates have also been e-mailed to the candidates who had appeared for JEE Advanced 2018.

JEE Advanced 2018 Answer Key

Candidates who have appeared for JEE Advanced should note that IIT Kanpur will release JEE Advanced 2018 Answer Keys on Tuesday May 29 at 10:00 am. JEE Advanced 2018 result will be declared on June 10.

IIT Kanpur, the authority to conduct JEE Advanced 2018 had on last Tuesday released on its website English and Hindi versions of Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates who wish to download the JEE Advanced Question Papers can do so now from the jeeadv.ac.in.

This was the first time both the papers of JEE Advanced were conducted online. Till last year, JEE Advanced was held online as well as pen and paper based, and students were given option to select one. From this year however it was decided to conduct JEE Advanced fully online and computer based.

While releasing the IIT JEE Adavnced Question Papers, IIT Kanpur has also issues a clarification regarding answers of Numerical-Answer-Type questions.

"For Numerical-Answer-Type questions, the numerical VALUE entered by the candidate will be evaluated. Wherever applicable, depending on the question, answers will be evaluated by checking whether the answer entered by the candidate falls within a range of two values, with or without including the upper and lower values of the range depending on the question", it said.

JEE Advanced is held every year for admission to IIT and other premium engineering institutions. The qualifying exam for JEE Advanced is JEE Main.
